TOP 10 WORST MOVIES I SAW THIS YEAR

This year was pretty disappointing with all that Corona shit. But as always, I did manage to see hundreds of films this year. Great films, Mediocre ones…..and atrocious ones.

So, lets get started off with some ๐‘‘๐‘–๐‘ honourable mentions

Bhoot Part One- This lame, unscary film had jumpscares I could sense from miles away. (1.5/5)

Ava- This film tried to. But failed. Ava could’ve been the next Atomic Blonde. But….yeah. (2/5)

Maniyarayile Ashokan- Although appealing to a family audience, this movie lacks logic. (1.5/5)

Babysitter: Killer Queen- A lot of the scenes were just copied from the original. Wasn’t even a good guilty pleasure. Damn. (2/5)

The New Mutants- This movie was competent, but it got nowhere in terms of a horror movie or a good one. (2/5)

Hellboy- Ah, well. I’d like to say, this is a good guilty pleasure. But it failed at multiple levels, especially the humour. And the imagery just gets disgusting. (2/5)

365 DNI- Although slightly better than Fifty shades, this one still showed the same abusive relationship theme. (1.5/5)

Ok guys. Things get serious here.

10. COUNTDOWN- A lame lame lame horror film that had hundreds of unintentional laughs. I mean, its about a frickin mobile app! (1/5)

09. AFTER WE COLLIDED- I actually liked After. It’s a big guilty pleasure for me. It showed hot people doing dumb stuff. So did this one. But in a really bad way. This movie has trash humour and just a waste of talent. (1/5)

08. LAXMII- Everything was the same as the original. Nothing new in this ‘not so funny’, ‘not at all scary’ crap. Akshay was the only selling point here. (1/5)

07. THE ROOM- I know this movie should be much, much higher on this list. But I had so much fun with this movie. I laughed so hard. This movie was really bad….in a good way. (1.5/5)

06. HOUSEFULL 4- Ok, this angers me, for this was the first film I saw this year. This film was just piss-poor with over the top performances and jokes that were mildly funny, if not trash. (0.5/5)

05. GHOST STORIES- I never expected anything out of this anyway. Karan Johar directing horror? The film had me frozen at that point. This movie had nothing worth watching. It wasn’t even that creepy. (1/5)

04. PENGUIN- Ok, this one was slightly engaging in the first half. But soon, it shredded off its last ounce of logic and dignity. (1/5)

03. NISHABDHAM- This movie just angered me. It was a waste of good talent, and it was very illogical….and so bad. (0.5/5)

02. THE GRUDGE- Nobody asked for this. The original Grudge was great. The first American one was fine. But the rest of it was trash. And this.. Horror movie reboots suck. This one did, at least. (0.25/5)

Ok guys, the worst movie I saw this year is…..

01. BIG BROTHER- Everything sucked about this movie. It was so over the top and piss poor in every angle. Mohanlal’s green eyes add a totally differrent vibe though. (0.25/5)

That’s all guys. Merry Christmas.
